- Urban cost-share program! The
Elkhart River Alliance has a cost-share program to help install urban stormwater practices in certain parts of the Elkhart River watershed. The program is open to any landowner (business, private resident, government entity, or non-profit) who wants to install approved practices that improve water quality. There is also an agricultural cost-share program for farm ground in certain areas. For more information, click on the link above or call 574-533-3630 ext. 3.
- Elkhart River Celebration June 5-6, 2009. Join the Elkhart River Alliance for music, art, food, and service, in celebration of the Elkhart River Watershed. This celebration will start at Goshen's First Friday event on June 5, and continue with a river clean-up, workshops, and more fun throughout the watershed on Saturday, June 6.
Advisory Board Meetings
The Greater Elkhart County Stormwater Partnership Advisory Board meets on the first Tuesday of every month from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Meetings take place at the Elkhart County Public Services Building (4230 Elkhart Rd., Goshen). Upcoming meetings of the Advisory Board in 2008 are scheduled for:

We received over 40 entries in our Logo Contest, and had a hard time narrowing that down to three winners. Thank you to all who entered. This web site incorporates the winning logo design, and you will also start to see this logo appearing on brochures and other outreach materials.
